Hey Charlie, I have a question that maybe you can answer. My stereo rig is 25 yo Kenwood pieces that were state of the art then. Even though I don't get to play with it very ofter anymore, my 16 yo looks at it like Stonehenge. When I bought it, the gospel about speakers that was told to me was that the ear has no memory. What we remember is only our remembered impressions of the sound we heard. They told me 'sit in here with your fav music, and ABC speakers in your price range with great reps, pick the one you like and never look back. By the time you get home, you won't remember the others. Have you ever heard of that or is that urban legend? Thanks.

Go with your ears. If it sounds good then keep it.
